Summer 2024 Group Prompts

laptop in the sand

Asking your Facebook Group members questions is a great way to increase engagement! Groups are very people-oriented pages, and you want your members to get the most out of their experience.

While the following prompts will give you some ideas, remember - your page needs to be authentic to you and your personal brand! Before you choose a prompt, ask yourself a few questions:

●     How is this relevant to me?

●     Would I respond to this prompt myself?

●     Will this bring value and spark conversation on my page?

At the end of the day, group prompts should do two things: help your followers get to know you better, and help you get to know your clients more personally! Adding pictures from your personal life that relate to the story you’re telling is always a great idea.

Keep in mind that the anecdotal information in each prompt paragraph should be edited to apply to you and your interests.

Prompt Ideas for Summer 2024

  1. (Cinco de Mayo: May 5th, 2024) Happy Cinco de Mayo! Here’s a fun fact for you — even though Cinco de Mayo is traditionally a Mexican holiday, it’s more widely celebrated in the U.S. than anywhere else!

Most people use today as an excuse to hit happy hour and spend time with friends. And this year, we’re lucky enough to have this holiday fall on a weekend so we can keep the celebration going all day long!

How are you celebrating Cinco de Mayo today? Are you having friends over, or are you headed to your favorite Mexican restaurant?

2. (Teacher Appreciation Week: May 6th - 10th, 2024) Throughout our childhoods, teachers are some of the most influential people in our lives.

Every teacher works hard to create a fun, inspiring environment for our children to learn, but there are a few who really stand above the rest!

Think back to when you were in school. Which teacher made the biggest impact in your life? Let’s honor our favorite teachers by sharing stories in the comments!

3. (Mother’s Day: May 12th, 2024) Happy Mother’s Day to all the moms, grandmas, and bonus moms out there!

A mother’s work truly never ends — they teach us to become our best selves throughout our childhoods, and they’re always there when we need them as adults.

Whether it’s your own mother, another family member, or a friend, make sure you make at least ONE mom feel special today. If you’re celebrating with kids or grandkids, let me know what you have planned down below!

4. (Memorial Day: May 27th, 2024) As we celebrate the unofficial start of summer on Memorial Day, it’s important to remember what this holiday is all about — the countless men and women who’ve dedicated their lives to this great country!

As you spend time enjoying the outdoors, remember to take a moment to appreciate the people this holiday is really about.

How are you spending Memorial Day today? Is there anyone in particular you’ll be thinking about?

5. (Father’s Day: June 16th, 2024) Happy Fathers’ Day! Today is all about celebrating the fathers in our lives — whether that’s our own dads, our husbands, or even our grown-up sons.

Before the day’s over, call up a dad in your life who’s always there to lend an ear or a shoulder to cry on, and thank them for all they’ve done and continue to do!

If you’re celebrating Father’s Day in person today, share some photos in the comments and tell me what you have planned!

6. (First Day of Summer: June 21st, 2024) It’s finally here — Happy First Day of Summer!

Backyard barbecues, days spent lounging by the pool, and summer vacation are on the horizon. I don’t know about you, but I’ve been waiting for this day for weeks!

How are you celebrating the First Day of Summer this year? Let me know or drop some photos down below!

7. (Independence Day: July 4th, 2024) I’m so excited for this year’s 4th of July celebration!

From spending time with friends and neighbors at poolside parties to fireworks shows at night, there’s nothing I don’t love about this holiday!

For me, a great array of appetizers is a MUST-HAVE at an Independence Day celebration. My all-time favorites are chicken wings and mac and cheese!

What 4th of July appetizer are you filling your plate with?

8. (World Emoji Day: July 17th, 2024) Have you ever noticed the date on the calendar emoji? If so, you’re probably not surprised to hear that today marks World Emoji Day!

I’m a big Emoji fan. They’re fun, they’re cute, and best of all, they help you convey tone via text!

Right now, these are my three most frequently-used emojis: 😂😅😊

Open up your Emoji keyboard and drop your top three in the comments!

9. (National Gorgeous Grandma Day: July 23rd, 2024) Here’s a holiday you might not have known about – Happy National Gorgeous Grandma Day!

Today’s grandmas are nothing like the grandmas we grew up with. Grandmas can be chic, stylish, and love trying new things as much as anyone else!

If you’re a gorgeous grandma yourself, drop your favorite photo with your grandkids down below and tell me your preferred “grandma” name! If you HAVE a gorgeous grandma, show me your favorite photo of her and share your best story!

10. Friends can come and go throughout your life, but best friends are forever!

Whether you and your BFF have known each other since childhood or just met a few years ago, I believe you can always tell when you’ve got a friend who will last through all of life’s ups and downs.

Share a photo of you and your bestie in the comments, then tell me a good story of when your two REALLY had fun together!

11. Your hair is done, your makeup is perfect, and you’re loving your outfit — three signs that it’s time to take a selfie!

Whether you only take a photo of yourself once a year or you’re a self-proclaimed selfie queen, we all have that one selfie we’ll never stop using — so let’s share what we’ve got!

Post your favorite selfie down below, then share the love and comment on someone else’s!

12. When was the last time you really went through your wardrobe? If you’re overdue for a Spring cleaning, I challenge you to take some time this week to decide what you want to keep and what you can give away!

I never just throw old clothes away — even if they don’t fit or have gone out of style. There’s always someone else who can give it a second chance, and knowing they’ll love it as much as you do makes it a lot easier to let go!

How do you prefer to donate your clothes? Do you give them as hand-me-downs? Or donate them to Goodwill or another charity?

13. What’s the best way to get together with your girlfriends? Hosting a cabi Fashion Experience with me, of course!

A lot of my clients think you need a big group to host a cabi show. But all you need is yourself and two friends — some people even prefer a more intimate shopping experience!

How do you like to host your cabi shows — with a big group or just a couple of your best friends?

14. Vacation is a time for relaxing and enjoying the finer things in life! But with that comes a major question — do you pack for relaxing or for enjoying a more luxurious lifestyle?!

In my opinion, it’s always better to go casual on my summer trip. Give me some tees and tanks, comfy shorts, and a couple of sundresses for dinner downtown!

On the other hand, I can see the appeal of dressing up and accessorizing on your summer vacation — after all, you need SOMEWHERE to wear all those accessories filling up your closet!

What’s your vacation style – casual or dressy?

15. It’s time to put on your favorite swimsuit and head to the beach! But before you can do that, you need to pack up the car with all your beach trip essentials.

Everybody does the beach differently. Some people are satisfied with just a towel and some sunscreen. Others need an umbrella, beach chair, snacks, and a speaker to play all their favorite summer tunes!

How do you beach — bring just the basics or go all out?!

16. I can’t think of anything better than driving down the road, windows down, and your favorite song playing in the background!

I have my tried-and-true favorites, but I make it my mission to find a new summer anthem every year!

Have you found your song for Summer ‘24 yet? If so, let me know what it is down below! I’d love to check out some new tunes.

17. Heres how my perfect summer day would go!

I’d wake up a little later than usual, and then take my time getting ready. Next, I’d head to my favorite brunch spot, sit on the patio, and enjoy some coffee and breakfast. Then, I’d go back home and spend some time reading in the sunlight!

If you had a 100% responsibility-free day this summer, how would you spend it?

18. Packing for vacation is never easy. Bringing a capsule wardrobe usually helps me plan my outfits, but you need more than just clothes when you’re going on a week-long vacation!

Between travel size restrictions, jewelry, and everything else you need, it’s easy to pack either not enough or WAY too much!

I tend to be more of an under-packer. But luckily, I never forget anything I can’t pick up at the store once I reach my destination!

What are you most guilty of — over-packing or under-packing?

19. Growing up, there were two beverages I loved to drink during the summertime — lemonade and iced tea. These drinks were such summer staples for me that it almost feels wrong to have them in any other season!

Even now, I always make time to make a big batch of homemade lemonade and sun tea at some point during the summer.

Do you make either of these drinks in the summertime? If so, which is your favorite?!

20. Whenever I take a summer trip somewhere new, there’s one thing I absolutely NEED to pick up from a local gift shop — a couple of postcards!

I used to mail them out to friends, but now I just keep them for my personal collection so I can look back at trips past.

Whether it’s a keychain, locally-made soap, calendar, or anything else, I feel like everyone I know has a go-to vacation souvenir! What’s yours?!
