Summer 2025 Group Prompts

Asking your Facebook Group members questions is a great way to increase engagement! Groups are very people-oriented pages, and you want your members to get the most out of their experience.

While the following prompts will give you some ideas, remember - your page needs to be authentic to you and your personal brand! Before you choose a prompt, ask yourself a few questions:

●       How is this relevant to me?

●       Would I respond to this prompt myself?

●       Will this bring value and spark conversation on my page?

At the end of the day, group prompts should do two things: help your followers get to know you better, and help you get to know your clients more personally! Adding pictures from your personal life that relate to the story you’re telling is always a great idea.

Keep in mind that the anecdotal information in each prompt paragraph should be edited to apply to you and your interests.

Prompt Ideas for Summer 2025

1.     (National Best Friends Day: June 8th, 2025) We all have that one girl who’s more like family than a friend.

Someone you can spend hours on the phone with and never run out of conversation, not see for a while but pick up right where you left off, and always count on for anything!

Well, today’s National Best Friends Day — and your perfect chance to celebrate the special connection between you and your girls!

So give her a call, organize a last-minute girls’ night, or just shoot her a text and let you know you’re thinking of her. Then, dig up an old picture of you two and share it with us in the comments!

2.     (Father’s Day: June 15th, 2025) It’s Father’s Day — a day to celebrate fathers, grandpas, and all the other father figures who’ve helped shape our lives!

Father’s Day always brings back memories. Maybe you remember the emotional rollercoaster of your dad teaching you to drive, the quiet serenity of fishing with your grandpa, or the little moments like grilling in the backyard with your husband and kids.

Let’s reminisce on those special moments. Share a photo of you with your dad, husband and kids, or grandfather in the comments — then, tell me your favorite Father’s Day memory!

3.     (First Day of Summer: June 20th, 2025) Get ready for sunny days at the pool, late-night campfires, and best of all, vacation! After what seems like forever, the First Day of Summer is finally here.

Even though it’s been gradually getting brighter and warmer lately, the First Day of Summer always feels like a fresh start to me. And every year, I spend this day thinking about all the fun things I have planned over the next few months!

This summer, I’m most excited to spend more time outside with family and friends — and I can’t wait to take my annual summer vacation! What are you getting excited to do this summer?

4.     (June: National Camping Month) June is National Camping Month!

It seems like no matter who you ask, everyone feels strongly one way or another about camping. Some people dream of their next camping trip and see it as a chance to get away from the hustle of everyday life — others (like me) would rather stay home!

While I’m not one for traditional camping, I can appreciate a good “glamping” trip! As long as I have running water and somewhere comfortable to sleep at night, I can be convinced.

What’s your take — traditional camping or glamping?

5.     (Independence Day: July 4th, 2025) Happy 4th to all! I hope you all have some awesome plans for later today — I know I’m most excited for the fireworks show!

Fireworks are always the best part of my 4th of July celebrations. Usually, we grab a couple of boxes of sparklers for after dinner, plus a few small fireworks to set off in the backyard. But some years, we do decide to brave the traffic and head to the beach for a REAL fireworks show!

How do you do fireworks on the 4th — DIY or a trip to the beach?

6.     (National Dog Day: August 26th, 2025) My best friend has four paws — and always greets me with a wagging tail!

Whether they’re waiting at the door like we’ve been gone for years or curling up next to us after a tough day, dogs have a way of loving us exactly how we need them to. All they ask for in return? A belly rub, a couple of treats, and a nice walk through the neighborhood.

There’s a certain level of comfort, companionship, and loyalty only a dog can give — and today’s the day to show them appreciation. In honor of National Dog Day, share a photo of your four-legged best friend in the comments!

7.     Here’s a quick story from my week!

I was waiting in line for coffee the other day, and I noticed the woman in front of me wearing some super chic earrings! I don’t usually strike up a conversation with a stranger, but I tapped her on the shoulder and told her how much I loved them. Her face lit up, and she told me I made her day!

That got me thinking of just how much a simple compliment can mean to someone. So next time you find yourself admiring something about a stranger, don’t be afraid to walk up and tell them!

Let’s practice random acts of kindness — tag someone you know below and give them a compliment!

8.     If you’re like me, taking selfies is a hit-or-miss game.

Some days everything looks good in the mirror, but you can’t seem to catch the right lighting and angle in the camera. But on those rare occasions, I get the PERFECT selfie, I can’t wait to post it online and change all my profile pictures!

Here’s my favorite selfie I’ve ever taken — now whether you took it last week or years ago, I’d love to see yours! Drop your all-time favorite selfie in the comments.

9.     The best part of summer? More hours of daylight!

Now I’m not necessarily a fan of the sun shining into my window at 6 AM — but I do love having more light in the evening to walk around the neighborhood, run last-minute errands, and extend my beach days for as long as possible!

More sunlight means more chances to get outside. What are you doing to take advantage of the extra sunlight in the summer?!

10.  Social media has made it easier than ever to discover more small businesses — local and nationwide!

As a small business owner myself, this is one of my favorite things about social media. I love finding new clients in my community, and I’m always finding new products I LOVE from brands I’d never have heard about without social media!

I’m always looking for new businesses to support, so I need your help! Leave a comment and let me know your favorite brand you’ve found through social media.

11.  Whether you like to hike all day long or just take a walk down Main Street, I think we can all agree that getting outside is one of the BEST parts of summer!

When I’m out exploring, my favorite thing to do is find a quiet corner where I can stop to drink some water, snap a few pictures, and relax before I continue my journey.  It could be a picnic table in a park, a corner of a trail, or even a restaurant patio!

If you’re like me and always looking for those peaceful corners of the world, drop a picture of your favorite one in the comments!

12.  Even if you already live near the beach, there’s one thing you usually need to wait for summer to enjoy — the ice cream stand!

The ice cream stand’s grand opening every year is what shows me summer has REALLY arrived. I don’t eat ice cream often, but I can never resist a Moose Tracks waffle cone this time of year!

What’s your favorite flavor to get from the beachside ice cream stand?

13.  Is there anything better than sitting by the water with a drink in your hand?

I usually stick to water, but in the summer, I just can’t resist a glass of lemonade, iced tea, or a refreshing cocktail!

I have a few go-to drinks, but I’d love some more to try out on my next day at the pool. So let me know — what’s your go-to summer cocktail or mocktail recipe?!

14.  If there’s one question you can expect to hear at a summer get-together, it’s “hot dog or hamburger?”

I’ll admit I tend to fill up on appetizers at a barbecue. But if I pace myself and can handle it when the grill’s ready, I usually pick a burger!

Which is your backyard BBQ pick — hot dogs or hamburgers? And, what toppings do you go with?!

15.  Why can’t your nose be 12 inches long?

Because then it would be a foot!

There’s just something about those bad, dad-style jokes that always make me laugh. They’re not everyone’s cup of tea, but you’ve gotta admit there’s something undeniably funny about them!

If you love bad jokes as much as I do, let’s make each other laugh in the comments — drop your favorite dad joke below!

16.  Macklemore was right — thrift shopping IS awesome!

I’ll admit, it’s not as easy now as it used to be to find those vintage gems in every rack. But those of us who’ve been at it a while know if you keep looking, you’ll eventually find something great!

Have you found any wardrobe mainstays at thrift shops? If so, share a photo of your favorite thing you’ve thrifted!

17.  One thing’s for sure: During the summer, you can count on me to be by the water!

But like everyone, I have my preferences. While I love going to the beach, I can’t say I’m big on swimming in the ocean. I prefer the pool where I can see the bottom and know there are no fish nibbling on my toes!

What body of water are you most likely to be in during the summer — ocean, lake, or pool?

18.  You can’t beat a sunny summer day. But you know what’s better than a day filled with sunshine? Watching it rise or set!

There’s no denying the sunrise is beautiful, but it’s tough to wake up in time to see it. Sunsets are a different story — and when it’s nice outside, I try to catch the sunset as often as I can…especially if I’m on vacation!

Which are you more likely to do — wake up early and catch the sunrise? Or sit outside at dusk to watch the sunset?

19.  As we get older, time with the whole family becomes even more precious. So when you do get the whole crew together, you have to plan something fun!

My family and I keep it simple — when we get together during the summer, we love to grill in the backyard, roast marshmallows around the fire pit, and play games like cornhole!

What’s your favorite activity to do when spending time with the whole family?

20.  Packing for vacation? I hope you’re bringing some cabi staples!

I’ve been loving planning all my vacation outfits with these new Spring items — three things I’m bringing for sure are the Botanical Dress, Skipper Shorts, and Breezy Sweatshirt. After all, there’s nothing better than being comfy on the beach!

Have you started daydreaming about your vacation outfits yet? If so, what three cabi items are suitcase staples?!
